GO 60 mpg

The Obama Administration is handcuffed by the stalemate in the US Congress from addressing climate change through clean energy legislation.  However, there is still one way in which the President can make a meaningful dent in our consumption of fossil fuels.

By setting the highest possible goal for Corporate Average Fuel Economy Standards (CAFE) for the year 2025, Obama can put the country on a path to drastically cut our consumption of expensive, dangerous, unclean oil, and consequently to reduce carbon emissions.

The Go 60 mpg campaign is urging Obama to seize this critical opportunity and make 60 miles per gallon the standard for new vehicles by 2025.  Visit the national campaign homepage to get involved!
